Winning 'angel' BLACKBURN-based Abbey Telecom has won first prize in a 'Guardian Angels' competition organised by the Blackburn Partnership and sponsored by ELTEC. The prize follows the 12-month relationship established between Abbey Telecom and Shorrock Security - a relationship the panel of Judges considered the most successful. Peter Robinson, the chief executive of Blackburn Partnership, said Abbey Telecom could feel "especially satisfied because the standard was very, very high indeed." Abbey Telecom MD Tony Raynor (pictured) said the award reflected the sound reputation his company had won in the past two years throughout East Lancashire. In April the company was the main sponsor of the Blackburn Mayor's ball at King George's Hall. |
